There are two prongs to the
meditation techniques that I teach. The first
addresses a physical and psychological health and
well-being practice. Some affected physiological
aspects of the body can include lower heart rate,
drop in blood pressure, relaxation of muscles, and
decrease in stress hormones. Feelings of
peacefulness, relaxation, calm, awareness, and
connectedness are experienced frequently in
meditation practice. In daily life, an individual
may notice changes in reactive patterns and
develop a greater sense of control over their
health and state of mind. |
