Meditation Mentoring

There are two prongs to the meditation techniques that I teach.
The first addresses a physical and psychological health and well-being practice.
Some affected physiological aspects of the body can include lower heart rate,
drop in blood pressure, relaxation of muscles, and decrease in stress hormones.
Feelings of peacefulness, relaxation, calm, awareness, and connectedness are experienced
frequently in meditation practice. In daily life, an individual may notice changes
in reactive patterns and develop a greater sense of control over their health and state
of mind.

Meditation can also be a spiritual practice, a doorway to the soul. Awareness is
encountered that helps us to understand who we are. It is the basis for inner work,
which allows us to stand firmly in the center of our being and connectedness with the Divine.

Private meditation instruction is $70 per hour.

Meditating for Life

Meditation is a vital component for a healthy, balanced life.
Meditation is good for you physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Everyone has the ability to meditate, and there are many ways to meditate - no
one technique is superior to another. What's important is creating a meditation practice
that meets your particular needs, interests, and beliefs. In this six-week class,
you will learn the benefits of meditation, including breath awareness, how meditation
decreases stress hormones, and other benefits such as increased circulation, lower blood
pressure, and an improved sense of well-being. You will learn everything that you need
to know in order to begin a regular meditation practice to enhance your mind and body.
Group instruction and support increases the likelihood that you will successfully and
permanently incorporate meditation into your life.

Heart - Centered Meditation / Book Study

There is a desire within each of us, in the deep center of ourselves that we call our heart.
We were born with it, it is never completely satisfied, and it never dies. We are often unaware
of it, but it is always there. It is the human desire for love, states author Gerald May.

This book profoundly impacted the awakening of my own heart, as well as, my entire life.
This class has the potential to profoundly impact your life in the heart. The format for this group
is discussion based on questions from assigned chapters in the book, The Awakened Heart: Opening Yourself
to the Love You Need. Heart-centered meditation will be introduced and practiced in each class.

Class fee is $180 and includes the text and 9 classes at my location or yours, minimum 5 people.
